some things can't be changed.
time can't be turned back.

And on top of that, I have no idea how to react.

To not bring up the subject would make it seem like I / we don't care.
But to talk and ask about it would set off the feelings of sadness, helplessness, etc.

So how?
So why?

Religion only comes in times of desperation.
But whatever happened has happened.
And then again, this leads back to what seems like the only hope - that is to take comfort in praying for the best.

I don't know, I don't know.
This shouldn't have happened at all.
I wished it didn't. And if I can't, I'm now wishing for the best so that everyone can move on.

i hate blogs with music. the music just come without warning and blast off my laptop or worse, my headphones! note: this usually happens when i surf blogshops. then beautiful curses will start spilling out of my mouth and i'll close that window immediately. stupid.

anyway, i'll post about summer fest at the Japanese school once i've received the photos from shan and jye. too lazy to bring my own cam. this yr was both better and worse than last yr. worse only due to the rain. why did it have to rain!? Bon odori is so much more fun doing it in huge circles on the grassfield than squeezing in the gym. and one of the bon odori songs here is just stuck to my head again. my fav one :)

better was due to the fact that we actually studied how to wear our yukata the right way this yr. ok, at least me and jye. so it looked more proper and didn't feel like it was dropping every second like last yr. yukata i wore was bought from japan too, so the design and material was way better than last yr's $10-$20 pick from haji lane... which is full of strange, old or full of holes yukatas... only a handful of passable or at least un-holey ones.

ok. i'll hold the rest of my comments for the next post. nothing else much actually.

I'm more into Olympics this time instead of years before.

love watching artistic gymnast (girls ver.), rythmatic/rythmic(?) gymnast (which is this weekend), synchronised swimming, athletics (the running), swimming (Michael Phelps!), table tennis (...). I even watched some matches for beach volleyball and softball. hahahaha.

ehh... hmmm.... sigh.....
i'm kinda depressed cos next week got booked on some job that I pray is not to clear outstanding matters! that'll be like shit.

anyway, tmr is natsumatsuri~~

national day always remind me of the year we participated as performers. i think it was year 2000. my regret to this date is not being able to watch the performance on tv. forgot to tape the actual day and i missed the repeat too. bleh. and our performance was like the last one before the fireworks cos we had some kinda light props to form formations with. kinda cool as compared to the rest.

suddenly remember Chase (the tv show with Utt and Linda Liao in 2005)... there was this one song performed by Linda in one of the episodes which I spent so much time trying to find it online back then but never found it. But now, the video is everywhere on the web. it's just too bad she didn't sing a complete version of it and release it as a single. The song was self-composed and apparently she used the rhythm from a chinese song in her second album to compose that song.

The title of the song: Keep Me Alive.

youtube is a bit mad. i just embed this video and tried playing once and it works. refresh the page and then they tell me the video is not available anymore. mad.
And it works better and loads faster if you click on it to go directly to youtube's page.

this has been a terrible week.

i had flu/slight fever on Mon, took mc on Tues, but had to go back to work on Wed. This wasn't that bad.

Weekend was worse.

Fri evening i felt weird and really tired. Went out for dinner but when I came home, I slept like around 11+ which was really early considering it was Fri night.

Sat I woke up and felt a terrible pain at my 2 sides below the waist. U know when u experience stitch pain? it was around that area on both sides but it wasn't stitch pain. Neither was it stomach cramps or anything. It made my back ache badly too, and i spent almost the whole day lying down/sleeping. I couldn't stand or sit for long. And i had no appetite at all. The pain only subsided at nite. I was so worried it was sth serious.

then this morning i woke up, my mum noticed sth wrong with my face. it seems like i have a skin allergy on my cheeks or sth. there are slight bumps (a lil' whitish if you look closely). it wasn't itchy or anything though. not my whole cheek, but more like size of 1 cent coin and very very few here and there on my left cheek. i was horrified and went to see the doc. the doc said that it doesn't look like allergy. (i didn't change any of my makeup) he said it looks like rash, but he wasn't sure what caused it. in the end, he gave me medication and cream for allergy though, and told me that if it didn't get better, i can go back or consult specialist. my god. wanna cry liao.

asked the doc about the pain i felt on my 2 sides too. he got me to do some stretching exercise to see if i felt any pain and i didn't, so he said it's likely due to muscle spasm, nothing serious. if i experience it again then go back c doc again, then might need to do more thorough examination like xray.

i've decided to stay away from fried food etc and take more cooling stuff to flush all the toxins out, so that it'll get better soon. i've also change my bedsheets etc cos that's the only thing i can think of that may be one of the causes. dust on the bedsheets or sth cos that's like the only thing that has contact with my face nya... but it can also be due to the weather or simply dust in the air blah blah, since my skin has always been sensitive.

Siiigh. sob.

maybe i shld go pray too...
