A tiny dream in my heart...
Vast blue sky wrapped over
the lush green fields
which flow endlessly into the horizon

Flowers of every colour
Small but growing strong
Swaying in the wind
Dancing along to the music of the stream

All is peaceful
An ethereal beauty
That I wish to pray for
These to be real in my dream

But something stops me
What is this?
Everything sinks into the cold
And fades into shades of lies

.
.
.

For I am standing alone in my dream
And that is the reality in my dream

Luckily for now I only need to do the bottom 2, and it's one at a time somemore. lucky lucky... cos the dentist say the x-ray shows that the top 2 is growing staight. so if it can continue growing straight down, then next time only need to do normal tooth extraction. no need to go for op cut open gums tt kind. ><

anyway, i set it after exam, and before laysh's and dawn's birthdays. hopefully i'll recover by then to eat properly. Heehee!

I want a Hybrid Child too! *sniffles*

Read/watch the news today/yesterday?

About the parent who complained that her daughter was allowed to rent this shoujo manga that looked like a normal romance story on the outside but actually contained explicit scenes inside?
article

I'm so pissed and sad!!!

This has affected my yaoi manga more than shoujo manga or anything!!! Darn...

Honestly, this reflects badly on the anime/manga industry. I'm afraid that more people would generalize and assume that all manga are useless/a bad influence. That's so not true! Parents should be the ones taking note of what manga their kids read. They could pick manga like Fruits Basket which teaches valuable life lessons amidst humour... erm... but the part on Akito and Shigure is still kinda explicit eh? Hmm... Ah, or maybe harmless ones like Cardcaptor Sakura? They shouldn't just push the blame to the shopowners and publishers! Grr...

SO PISSED. SO PISSED.

minna-san!

Today's 14th March! HAPPY WHITE DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Well, if you don't know what White Day is, read on to be enlightened. How I got to know about White Day was actually through Momiji from Fruits Basket. Remember how he took Tohru to the onsen and sang his infamous onsen song, "Teru Teru Momiji"? Kawaii~~~

On to the origin of White Day:
St. Valentine's Day on 14th February in Japan is a day when women give men chocolates. These gifts of chocolate are divided into two types: giri choco(obligatory chocolate) and honmei choco(chocolate for the man the woman is serious about/true sweethearts). Giri choco is given by women to their superiors at work as well as to other male co-workers/friends.

To balance out the one-sidedness of this practice, White Day was invented for men to reciprocate such gifts. While Valentine's Day is an imported convention, White Day (on March 14) is a purely Japanese creation.

Just as with the giving of chocolates on Valentine's, the driving force behind the popularization of White Day was a confectionery maker. A company making marshmallows launched a campaign in 1958 urging men to repay valentine gifts with soft, fluffy marshmallows. The name White Day comes from the colour of the candy, and at first it was called Marshmallow Day.

When chocolatiers saw the opportunity to expand their business, they began marketing white chocolates, and other candy makers soon jumped on the bandwagon. Gradually, the original association with marshmallows disappeared; today, men no longer limit their purchases to confections, giving women handkerchiefs, accessories, and other gifts.

*information taken mainly from http://web-jpn.org/kidsweb/calendar/march/whiteday.html

So then, enjoy your White Day. Demand a marshmallow or white chocolate from your boyfriend and/or guy friends. ^__^

Today's Literature tutorial: we somehow got onto the topic of homo Literature works, mainly because the novel we're doing now, "The Picture of Dorian Gray", is written by Oscar Wilde, a gay novelist.

Lol~ it was the most interesting part of the tutorial. This was what I learnt from my tutor today:

Well, it was hard to get homo works published back during that time, so many only wrote novels that were connotative (implying) rather than those that stated stuff clearly.

hmm... but it should be not much problem now getting such works published.

E.M. Forster is one of the first to get a gay novel published, titled Maurice. He's a gay, btw. I wonder why Ms. Ma or any of our Literature teachers back in Secondary School didn't mention it. He was part of the Bloomsbury Group, "a set of Bohemian thinkers and doers who revolted against the manners and morals of Victorian England", many of whom were openly gay.

Virginia Woolf is a bi, and so is Katherine Mansfield (as said by laysh)

D.H. Lawrence is NOT a gay. He's extremely masculine, to the point that some would call him a MCP. (But I like his works...)

Omoshiroi deshou? ^__^ I really believe it now when they say most homos comes from the creative faculty/industry!

Oh yeah... if you're gonna comment on this entry on the tagboard, please DO NOT flame homosexuals or bi.

Mkting presentation on Thursday was surprisingly good. I mean, my friends told me I did well, though I thought that I wasn't fluent enough. Anyway, before it was my turn to speak, 3 of us and most of the class was laughing at one of my groupmates. Well, if i haven't told you about him, must ask me to tell you! You die of laughter. I admit it was mean to laugh, but luckily we were behind him and I was hidden from the tutor. My other fren in the audience had to bury her face in her jacket so as to not be rude. Lol~ See her make me laugh more... But he's just too funny! The way he does things, look and talk. He's very eccentric and quiet. Anyway, too difficult to describe through writing... talking easier.

Hopefully i'll be able to get my digicam at the IT fair next wk then can take group photo show you guys.

Anyway, during the presentation, the previous group presenting case study did Starbucks, and they brought Starbucks coffee for the tutor. Our group presenting project brought fruit tea (i'm the one who brought it) as our venture was a tea cafe. What a coincidence eh? A coffee & tea day!

I'm starting to study liao... not to the point of mugging la, but I'm reading my notes and textbook. Accounting is damn hard!!!!!!!! Spent most of Friday with laysh reading the notes and trying to understand. So complicated and confusing! But in the end, we didn't know how to do the tutorial... sigh. Friday did 2 chapters of stats too. p-value in hypothesis testing is confusing too. Why can't they stick to the way we did in JC? sigh...

Today did fm! Monday 3 hr break shall do marketing. Must really start to read the marketing textbook... since i don't attend lectures. Hmm...

Accounting presentation on Monday was surprisely fine. At least to me... dunno wad the tutor thinks la! I managed to speak fluently, never get tt nervous, and I remembered what to say without reading from slides or cards. Only that I answered one sentence for the Q&A oart only. Cos the rest of the qns i dunno what they talking bt. My 3 outgoing groupmates answered them.

So there's only mkting left. tmr there's a presentation, next next wk too. Damn... hv to sacrifice and bring chinese tea set tmr. The thought of that tutor drinking from my teacups... gross! Don't like him! Maybe I'll use plastic cups instead...

Anyway, I'm dying with happiness now.

GRAVITATION CONFIRM HAVE A PART 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The newest chapter is out in a magazine!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Laysh, do you hear me? Remember how I used to whine about having a part 2? ^__^)
God...
Can't believe it. This is the exhilarating news!
I LOVE GRAVITATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope the actual manga comes out asap. But I think not so soon la... they hv to collect enough chapters to print a book. And there's only chap 1 out now. Nvrmind, I'll get more news from my LJ and Groups.

Yay~~~!!!!!!!!!!
